This Privacy Policy explains how Travel Talkiz di Islam Shaiful (referred to as "Travel Talkiz", "we", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Italian data protection legislation.

1. Data Controller

The data controller for all personal data collected through this website and through Travel Talkiz's services is:

Travel Talkiz di Islam Shaiful, Via Guglielmo Ciardi 18, Int 9, Zelarino, Venice (VE), CAP 30174, Italy

REA: VE-460009 | VAT: IT04849280278 Email: [email protected] PEC: [email protected]

2. What Data We Collect

We collect personal data in the following circumstances:

  • When you complete the contact form on our website: we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the content of your message.
  • When you make a booking or enquiry by email or WhatsApp: we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, contact details, travel dates, group size, and any special requirements or preferences relevant to your booking.
  • When you visit our website: if you accept optional analytics cookies we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect aggregated usage statistics (for example pages viewed and approximate location derived by Google). If you decline, GA4 is not loaded.
  • When you open our contact page: if you accept optional maps cookies we embed Google Maps; if you decline, we show only an external link to Google Maps so the embed does not load on our site.
  • Typography on our pages is bundled with the site via our hosting platform; fonts are not loaded from third-party font CDNs during normal browsing.
  • When you use our contact form: outbound mail may be handled using Google messaging infrastructure (for example Gmail or Google Workspace) acting under Google's agreements.
  • To reduce spam we may temporarily process IP addresses from contact submissions using short-lived in-memory rate limiting on our server.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about your booking or service requirements.
  • To arrange and coordinate the services you have requested, including communicating relevant details to third-party operators on your behalf where necessary.
  • To send you information relevant to your booking confirmation details, itinerary information, and follow up communications.
  • To comply with our legal obligations as a registered Italian business.

We do not use your personal data for unsolicited marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

  • Contractual necessity: processing is necessary to fulfil a booking or service agreement with you.
  • Legitimate interests: processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests in responding to enquiries and operating our services, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation: where processing is required to comply with Italian or EU law.
  • Consent: where we rely on your consent — for example optional analytics or maps cookies, and where our contact form asks you to acknowledge this Privacy Policy before submitting.

5. Data Sharing

We share your personal data with third party service providers only where necessary to arrange and deliver the services you have requested for example, sharing your name and arrival details with a transfer driver or a tour guide.

We do not share your data with third parties for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

Optional analytics use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited where applicable). Analytics scripts load only if you accept analytics cookies; Google's privacy notice is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Optional maps embeds are provided by Google Maps subject to Google's terms.

Outbound emails initiated via our contact form may transit Google's messaging infrastructure (including SMTP operated by Google); Google's statements describe how they process such technical metadata.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, and thereafter for a period consistent with our legal and accounting obligations under Italian law (typically a maximum of ten years for business records).

Enquiry data from contacts that did not result in a booking is typically deleted within twelve months.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data:

  • The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
  • The right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • The right to erasure of your data in certain circumstances.
  • The right to restrict or object to our processing of your data.
  • The right to data portability.
  • The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) at www.garanteprivacy.it.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage only where described below. You choose optional categories using our cookie consent tool; essential storage remembers your choices.

Categories we use:

  • Essential / strictly necessary: the consent tool stores your choices in a first-party cookie (default name cc_cookie) so we do not repeatedly ask for the same decision.
  • Analytics (optional): if you consent, Google Analytics 4 may set cookies or similar identifiers per Google's practices until you withdraw consent or clear storage.
  • Maps (optional): if you consent on our contact page, loading Google's embedded map may involve cookies or similar technologies governed by Google.

The consent cookie records which categories you accepted or declined, a consent identifier, and ISO timestamps for your first consent and for each subsequent update — forming the technical record of your choices on this device.

You can reopen Cookie settings from the site footer at any time. Browser controls may also block cookies; blocking the consent cookie may reset your preferences.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Our website is served over HTTPS and hosted on secure infrastructure.

Contact submissions may be limited using automated checks based on IP address solely for abuse prevention; identifiers used for rate limiting are retained briefly in server memory and are not used for profiling.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this website with the date it was last updated. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
